Description:An outstanding opportunity exists for the right person to be part of the sales team of a world leader company, the largest manufacturer of its specialized plastic products in the world.
1. Communicates with customers and outside sales personnel (JM Eagle sales managers and manufacturer reps) and answers questions on pricing, quotations, customer order status, delivery schedules, competitive pricing and future production. 2. Assists with customer problems and/or complaints and, after examining all pertinent information, initiates appropriate action to resolve routine problems. 3. Remains knowledgeable on all customer service territories and provides coverage for the various sales territories during vacation or any time loss to ensure optimum customer service. 4. Coordinates the returned goods process from the generation of the returned goods authorization through the inventory adjustments and credit memo generation. 5. Takes initiates to review open and back orders. Works with the shipping departments and Traffic Supervisor to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments. Notifies Shipping Supervisors of special handling or packaging requirements. Schedules shipments to meet customer needs in a cost-effective manner, including combining orders geographically and minimizing back orders. 6. Monitors inventory levels during order entry and notifies the production departments as needed. 7. Reviews orders for correct pricing, package quantities, and other related information prior to being market release. 8. Resolve customer debit/deduction in a timely and accurate manner. Makes suggestions for process improvement.
