SUMMARY Assist HQ office with the day-to-day administration of Benefits. Strong benefit administration experience and ADP/PayForce knowledge. The perfect candidate will have superior customer service skills, be highly detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, work well with others in a team environment and exercise sound judgment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Provide customer service to employees via telephone and e-mail, answer eligibility and enrollment questions and to resolve insurance benefit related problems on their behalf. · Enrolls, processes changes and terminates as appropriate employees with respect to group benefit plan participation. · Responsible for all benefit files and filing. · Prepares benefit information packets for all new hires for Orientation ensuring that all new staff members receive forms and literature needed at the time of new employee/benefits orientation. · Inputs/audits 401(k) contribution and loan changes weekly to ensure timely, accurate maintenance of this benefit. · Coordinates all terminal benefits information for terminating employees including COBRA, HIPAA, life insurance conversion, etc. · Assist with year-end 401(k) processes. · Assists with the monthly carrier premium billing and reconciliation process. · Inputs all benefit changes into the ADP system, i.e., enters data for new employees, resignation/terminations, etc. Maintains and monitors the database to ensure data on all employees is current and accurate. · Pulls customized reports as requested and runs regularly scheduled computer reports. · Processes claims and related forms for company paid benefits (STD, LTD & life insurance) under the supervision of senior benefits staff. · Respond to general departmental telephone and mailed/faxed inquiries and routes same, as warranted. Receives, date stamps, and distributes/routes departmental mail.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Human Resources, Management, Business or Psychology or equivalent from four-year college; and one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS Possess intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook). Internet/Intranet experience. HRIS system experience preferred.
