JOB DESCRIPTION

Technical Support

·         Respond to technical questions about products, applications, installation, specifications, etc. submitted by customers and JM Eagle sales staff.

·         Forward standard details, technical bulletins, and submittal packages to customers and sales staff.

Custom Application Design

·         Draft drawings for custom fittings and drainage products.

·         Perform structural, hydraulic, and volumetric calculations for custom drainage applications.

Products Procurement

·         Issue JM Eagle purchase orders to OEM manufacturers for drainage products

·         Keep track of misc. drainage products inventory.

·         Facilitate and route quotes, designs, and orders for fittings and drainage products to the appropriate personnel.

Tech Bulletin Development

·         Coordinate with management, sales staff, quality control/assurance, and outside consultants to draft and review product related literature such as brochures, installation guides, technical bulletins, and standard details.

Product Assurance

·         Assist in the timely investigation, evaluation, and company response to product quality and failure claims issued by customers.

Misc.

·         Participate in national forums and associations such as ASTM, PPI, NTPEP, etc. to advance JM Eagle interest and objectives.

·         Assist PE department with various projects and tasks when needed.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering preferred

·         2-3 years experience in the construction industry, specifically underground utilities

·         PE license is a plus, but not required

·         Excellent teamwork and communication skills (both written and oral)

·         Candidate must be self motivated, goal orientated, and well organized

·         Ability to read construction documents, specifications, and standards

·         Ability to multitask and prioritize projects

·         Proficient with AutoCAD application

·         Proficient with MS Office applications
